Citywide 3D Elementary, K-8, and Middle School Exhibition - Denver Art Museum, North Building, First Floor, Ponti Hall.
The Denver Public Schools Arts Department announces the Recognition Ribbon Recipients for the 2014 Citywide 3D Elementary, K-8, and Middle School Art Exhibition – A Touch of Whimsy. The annual exhibition showcases 375 students from 30 elementary, K-8, and middle schools. The art show demonstrates a vibrant and robust visual arts curriculum that includes an understanding of conceptual ideas expressed through the visual arts.
“This year 89 students, both individual and group collaborations, will receive ribbon recognition.” said, Joan Meister, Citywide Visual Arts Coordinator. Ribbon Recognition is based on the quality of the artwork in the following areas: Exemplary Technique/Skill, Excellent Concept Expression, Best of Show and Kudos.
